The Kenya Demographic Survey shows a gripping narrative: maternal mortality and newborn deaths remain high, with Under-five mortality facing similar challenges. These challenges generate from restricted access to health services and a lack of knowledge about Mother and Child Health (MCH). However, within the Kenyan reality, answers for MCH exist. The reasons are known and the answers lie in education and access to care. This project is fundamental as we unite four Kenyan universities for the first time to address these pressing MHC challenges. Through evidence-based community programs, we empower Community Health Providers (CHPs) and students alike. Embracing a transdisciplinary approach, we emphasize education and community service learning, forging pathways to bridge healthcare disparities and foster enduring improvements.
