This TEAM project aims to make effective contributions to peace, justice and strong institutions (SDG 16). It also intends to contribute to gender equality through specialized work with female victims of violence in restorative processes (SDG 5). The main goal is to contribute to the devel-opment of theoretically based and methodologically elaborated guidelines for the implementation of restorative justice in Cuba, as well as for the training of professionals in charge of leading restorative justice programs. At the same time, the project will favor to set the UCLV as a leading institution in terms of restorative processes in Cuba; UCLV will count on trained researchers who will provide the most current theoretical and methodological conceptions to implement restorative justice, according to a constitutional mandate that requires highly prepared professionals both from academia and from the practice of attorneys, main actors in these processes.
