SI-Better Digital Services for Cuba through Model-Driven Software Engineering

This kind of systems achieve integrated representations of phenomena that happen in the real world or in a domain. In conceptual modelling practitioners have been focused on static aspects whereas dynamic aspects have been less formalized. There is a need to improve the capabilities of business analyst in the conceptual modelling field. This project aims to strengthen the efficiency of Cuban software industry to contribute to the development of software applications and management information systems for the digitalisation of services. The outcomes are training modules in line with scientific state of the art and industry needs, a first group of well-trained students and professionals, a research agenda and a network of universities, ICT industry, a community beneficiary of the developed software and the government. The results will contribute to the development of the Cuban software industry and to the solution of real problems to support business processes at the University of Holguin and other organisations.
