SI-Promoting inclusive digital transformation for rural households through multimedia solutions

VN2023SIN404A103 01/09/2023 - 31/08/2025 Inclusive digital transformation is becoming a norm in applying digital strategies in agriculture and rural development, where the principle of “leave no one behind” (or in short LNOB) is seriously considered for developmental and sustainable activities in rural areas of Vietnam. In that context, digital agricultural extension and rural development activities will play a crucial role in rural and inclusive digital transformation. One of the most important tools for professional and rural people in consuming the technical and professional processes is the interactive learning and guide materials as a knowledge base and digital competence up/reskilling of targeted groups living in rural areas to access for learning, using and sharing the digital resources. In this project proposal, we are proposing a new approach in using digital technologies (e.g., Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality and multimedia technologies) to develop a digital knowledge base for agricultural extension and digital competences up/reskilling for rural people in Vietnam.
