Disclaimer: Country borders do not necessarily reflect the Belgian Government's official position.

General

TZ2024TEA570A103 01/09/2024 - 31/08/2029 Most Tanzanian students in rural settings and those with disabilities fail to receive quality education. This leads to poor performance in STEM subjects, and slim chances to pursue STEM careers. Nevertheless, digital technologies are globally used to improve access to quality education. Thus, Mzumbe University and Ghent University aim to establish a centre for research on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance children’s learning experiences and career chances in STEM.
