Reports from Vietnam on Anisakidae, fishborne parasites, indicate an alarming potential public health problem. This project aims to contribute to the needed capacity and awareness creation and to build a comprehensive knowledge about the hazards and the risks to consumers,indispensable for the development of control strategies, thereby supporting governments to substantially reduce disease burden.
