GO2024ITP260A102 01/09/2024 - 31/08/2027 We want to develop a short-term executive program for leaders within the cultural and creative sectors in South Africa & Flanders. Within this International training program, 20 cultural professionals and emerging talents from Flanders (10)and South Africa (10) are selected, fostering a diverse and dynamic exchange between these regions. This program is inspired by an existing cultural leadership program LinC (Leadership in Culture), This new program is part of the UNITWIN UNESCO Chair The Program Structure 36 months (12 months preparation & 2 editions of 6 labs spread over 12 months) The foundation of the program consists of 6 labs (hybride), Structured to unfold over a 12-month period, five of these labs are conducted online, with the 6th adopting a hybrid format, taking place alternately in South Africa. The Program Structure: Labs · Lab 1: "From Outside to Inside" · Lab 2: "From Inside to Outside" · Lab 3: Innovation, Change, Sustainability, and Digitalization. · Lab 4: Organisational Structure, Culture, and Sustainable Business Models, · Lab 5: Stakeholder Management and Political Skills c · Lab 6: Public Leadership, the program's finale, is a seven-day intensive summer/winterschool where the learning paths converge, allowing participants to exchange insights from previous labs and culminating in the development and presentation of innovative prototypes and concepts to cultural, creative organisations, and policy influencers. This lab alternates its venue between South Africa and Flanders, fostering a transnational collaborative spirit. There are three learning tracks that are developed throughout the program. e sectors. 1. Reflection In this track, we offer coaching sessions and peer supervision. 2. Interventure The Interventure assignment combines the concepts of innovation, intervention, and adventure. 3. Cultural Connections Learning Track 3 is a part of the program that consists of inspiration cafés where cultural leaders meet leaders from other sectors, and have a discussion on specific themes and societal issues..
