General

KE2024TEA556A104 01/09/2024 - 31/08/2029 In Kenya, cervical cancer (CC) is the leading cause of cancer related deaths in women. Most women are diagnosed with advanced stages 3 and 4 disease where radiotherapy (RT) is the main treatment. Studies suggest that advanced stage disease is associated with poor quality of life while patients receiving RT are more likely to suffer adverse events. A clinical audit on RT services is proposed to generate evidence to inform strategies for improving care, outcomes and quality of life for CC patients
