General

The programme is supporting the strengthening of capacity in order to implement evidence-based programming to address infectious diseases in Cambodia. It is done through the support to 3 local partners. Each partner has its own objective: - To strengthen the rational basis of health care systems in Cambodia in order to improve the health status of the population and thereby contribute to the reduction of poverty and inequity. - To eliminate of malaria and to improve the control of other vector borne diseases in Cambodia - To contribute to the elimination of new HIV infections by 2020 and improve the health status of people in Cambodia To strengthen the capacity in biomedical, epidemiological and sociological research required for improved approaches to eliminate malaria and to control of other vector borne diseases Strengthen the capacity in order to implement evidence-based programming to address infectious diseases in Cambodia.
