Indian (and South Asian) public health policy making benefits from IPH as a centre for excellence for research, training and advocacy. * Research : Health systems research on pertinent and vulnerable urban and rural health issues, and research conducted by PhD and pre-doc students * Training : E-learning courses and Masters in Public Health (MPH) for in-service Indian government health staff, but also open to candidates in NGOs and the private sector * Advocacy: Hub on public health advocacy with use of media, political / administrative and legal advocacy * South-South exchanges: Intra- and inter-continental exchanges between IPH and other southern institutions for mutual learning and collaborative research and training * Exchanges between IPH and ITM: IPH faculty visiting ITM and vice-versa for mutual learning and collaborative research and training
