General

721.373 georganiseerde familiale boeren en kleinschalige ondernemers, vooral vrouwen, jongeren en armen, verbeteren tegen 2016 op een duurzame manier hun bestaanszekerheid en versterken hun relaties en gezamenlijke actie. The groups that have the most difficult access to strategic resources and are most affected by climate change are the (poor) indigenous population, women and young people. The aim is to strengthen our partners in Peru (and Ecuador) with strategic partnerships in Bolivia and Colombia, thus strengthening the value chains through South-South exchange. In addition, their interests are also represented on strategic issues. Trias' main activity is to strengthen the member organisations representing these five value chains (potato, quinoa, guinea pigs, agroecology and guarango), both at meso level and nationally.

Results

Trias strives for 7 sustainable member organisations (MBOs) in PERU, which are active actors in society, who personally and professionally strengthen the capacities of their members - with a special focus on the poor, women and young people -, who strengthen the participation of their members, who challenge the balance of power within society and who contribute to a more inclusive global society.
