The groups that have the most difficult access to strategic resources and are most affected by climate change are the (poor) indigenous population, women and young people. The aim is to strengthen our partners in Ecuador (and Peru) with strategic partnerships in Bolivia and Colombia, thus strengthening the value chains through South-South exchange. In addition, their interests are also represented on strategic issues. Trias' main activity is to strengthen the member organisations representing these five value chains (potato, quinoa, guinea pigs, agroecology and guarango), both at meso level and nationally.

TRIAS aims to establish up to 8 sustainable member organisations in Ecuador that actively participate in society and give their members full authority, both personally and professionally. The organisations are focused on the poor, indigenous, female and young people and aim to improve their participation in the market, combat social power relations and contribute to a global, more inclusive approach.
