Cambodia - PArTNER (Partnership for Agroecology Transition, Networking, and Efficient Resilience)

Generate economic and social changes of the Cambodian rural farmers families by improving Cambodian food market through agroecological transition and gender equity in agriculture.  The Outcome is dedicated to support family farming systems by strengthening their resilience functions as food providers for the Cambodian society. The intended approach combines the increase of agricultural productivity through agroecological practices, of revenues through upgraded value-chains and the improvement of the socio-economic environment. Five results lead to the expected changes: 1. Boosting ecological agriculture productivity through Farmer-to-Farmer led extension systems, processes of technical and managerial innovations and capacity training, and co-investment in agroecological production assets. Attention is given to the promotion of gender equality and pro-poor considerations in identified sectors or commodities that offer potential for benefitting women and advancing their economic empowerment, while also promoting poverty reduction. 2.
