General In mei 2016 verzamelden 2500 humanitaire actoren, medewerkers, vertegenwoordigers van overheden en andere belanghebbenden in Istanboel voor de eerste World Humanitarian Summit (WHS) ooit. Parallel aan het WHS proces, publiceerde het High Level Panel on Humanitarian Funding (HLP) het rapport ‘Too important to fail’ in januari 2016.
