Contribuer au renforcement de la résilience des communautés palestiniennes les plus vulnérables au risque de déplacement forcé en Zone C, Cisjordanie.

Améliorer la sécurité alimentaire et les moyens de subsistance des communautés bédouines en zone C (E1 / périphérie de Jerusalem) par une assistance pour le bétail et un mécanisme de protection plus important.

R1.1 Animal mortality rate reduced by 14%. R1.2 At least 80% of trained herders fully apply animal disease prevention methods. R1.3 Cash expenditure of beneficiary herders on animal health reduced by 62%. R2.1 Increase in grazing period of 2.5 months. The grazing period has been increased more than initially planned. In fact, 70.4 day/sheep is the grazing period at the end of project compared to 25.4 day/sheep at the beginning of the project12. R2.2 Planted area for cultivation of animal fodder increased by 432 dunums. Around 432 dunums of rangeland areas were rehabilitated and cultivated with approximately 10800 seedlings of different varieties of pastoral shrubs. R2.3 34 HH herders trained apply rangeland and water harvesting operational management. 34 beneficiary herders actively took part to an intensive training program on rangeland management and application of water harvesting techniques. R2.4 Existing rainwater storage capacity for animal drinking and supplementary irrigation for new plants has been expanded by 1687 m³. R2.5 Water harvesting suitability mapping pilot studies produced. R3.1 One protection Committee was strengthened and one new protection committee established R3.2 8 community-based protection committees (sub-committees) functioning in selected communities R3.3 13 local authorities and 155 individuals trained in legal procedures, document required for the objection to stop-work/demolition orders. R3.4 16 collective/ individual (223 families) legal documentation file prepared in response to stop-work/demolition orders. R3.5 2 cases referred to other organizations for legal aid in response to stop-work/demolition orders. R4: Key policies, imposed by the Government of Israel (GoI) that are in violation of International Humanitarian law (IHL) (including demolitions and forced displacement) in Area C are challenged by international stakeholders.
