General

In order to have a strong social movement that fights for the right to health, it must be strengthened with regard to the strategic health determinants. These determinants play a fundamental role in improving people's health status. In this programme, TWHA puts forward three social determinants of health into the Philippine context: large-scale mining, repression of the social movement and access to health care.
