Le Projet participation citoyenne et gouvernance locale au Sud-Ubangi vise à promouvoir la participation de la société civile et l'engagement citoyen en vue du renforcement de la démocratie, le développement socio-économique, la qualité des services publics et la cohésion sociale au niveau local en province du Sud-Ubangi. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the project aims to promote civic participation and citizen engagement to strengthen democracy, socio-economic development, public service quality, and social cohesion at a local level. The intervention is supported by Enabel, a Belgian governmental cooperation agency, and partners with various provincial institutions, including the Government Provincial (Governor, Ministers of Agriculture, Plan, Decentralization), ETD, Assemblee Provinciale, Services Techniques Deconcentres (Inspections et Divisions Plan, Finances), Services Techniques Deconcentres (IPA, IPPEL, IPDR), Instituts Superieurs et Universites, INERA, Programmes Specifiques, Acteurs Societes Civiles (ONG Internationales & locales : CARITAS, CAP CONGO, RACOJ, Regroupements Acteurs Locaux), Prives (FEC, ), Projets Financement Secteur Agriculture. The project's objective is to consolidate democracy and the rule of law by reinforcing governance and promoting and respecting human rights. The intervention focuses on improving the governance and economic, social, and environmental performance of food systems, generating food security and income through resilient and inclusive family and entrepreneurial agriculture for young people and women. The project is implemented in the provinces of Lomami.
