Pilootproject dat zal werken rond dataverzameling en -analyse van gegevens rond remittances die vanuit België worden verzonden, en deze data koppelt aan concrete acties inzake vormingen rond kostenefficiënte alternatieven voor het verzenden van remittances vanuit België naar Marokko, Senegal en DRC en inzake het aanbieden van mogelijkheden aan deze diaspora om te investeren in KMOs in de landen van oorsprong (Marokko,Senegal en DRC). To offer cost-effective alternatives for remittances and opportunities for investment and savings.
Results
1. Understand the remittances flows and behaviours of diaspora in Belgium.
2. Make the remit senders in Belgium and the remit receivers in countries of origin (DRC, Morocco and Senegal) increasingly aware of different remit options and factors that influence remitting behavior.
3. Offer the opportunity to diaspora to use savings for investments within 3 targeted African economies (DRC, Senegal and Morocco).
