A comprehensive offer for children in street situations and vulnerable youngsters in Bacolod City

To facilitate and support 1.400 children in street situations, girls, and boys, access their basic rights and to strengthen and empower vulnerable young people and children in conflict with the law, offering them a comprehensive individual and collective program in Bacolod City (Negros Occidental). Virlanie Faith Inc. will be responsible for the operations of our program in Bacolod City, aiming to facilitate access to basic rights to 1400 children, girls and boys, including most children in street situations (CISS), children in conflict with the law (CICL) and the most vulnerable children and youth both in the Open Day Centre and with its long-time local government partner, the Social Development Centre (SDC). The core strategy is to provide for their basic needs such as emergency shelter, social protection and legal identity through social services, physical & mental health and leisure activities (sports, arts and recreation). The aim is to create an environment for young adults to realize and develop their potential and access the needed support through a comprehensive personalized intervention plan on education (formal and non-formal education) and technical (TVET) and general life skills training, to prepare them for independent living and community reintegration.
