General
Inclusive Access to Quality Education and Learning aims to ensure that boys and girls, young women and men in Palestine access quality education and acquire STEAM and 21st-century skills in a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment. The programme supports young people to become active and critical citizens, prepared for local and global challenges, through improved education, training, guidance, and pathways to employment. The intervention focuses on three core results: 1- Increased access to quality education through improved educational infrastructure and expanded access to digital technologies in more conducive learning environments. 2- Enhanced quality of learning outcomes in STEAM and 21st-century skills through e-learning, pre- and in-service teacher training, and STEAM activities both within and beyond schools. 3- Improved well-being and inclusion of vulnerable students through protective school environments, extracurricular activities, and targeted support mechanisms. The Project Inclusive access to quality education and learning, located in Palestine within the Education. Education facilities and training sector, aims to empower youth by providing them with improved education, training, guidance, and employment opportunities. This project, funded by the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel) under the supervision of the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation (DGD), seeks to give access to quality education for young people, both boys and girls, as well as young women and men, and to equip them with STEAM and 21st century skills in a conducive learning environment. The project objectives are outlined in various sources, including the project profile and Enabel's description. Both parties, Belgium and Palestine, have agreed to establish a Joint Committee for policy dialogue, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments to the bilateral aid program.
