Body

General

According to its own methodology (analyzing different financial flows available in and for the country) UNDP develops Biodiversity Finance Plans, together with beneficiary countries. The analysis is composed of studies of i) policies and institutional set-up regarding biodiversity finance (stakeholders, harmful subsidies, vetting national budget process and identifying possible financial solutions); ii) the relevance of key programs and organizations to determine their contribution to biodiversity financing; iii) financial needs regarding biodiversity. In the next phase, different stakeholders are supported to rework budgets, adopt new and improved fiscal and market instruments, and pilot innovative financing mechanisms. Contribute to mobilizing financial resources for biodiversity protection in Niger

Results
