Support to Public Finance Managemant reforms, will contribute to the PFM Sector Strategic Plan 2018-2024

The Belgian support to PFM reforms will contribute to three results of the PFM Sector Strategic Plan 2018-2024 : - Expand the coverage and functionalities of the IFMIS and other PFM ICT systems - Increase compliance with PFM systems and international accounting and auditing standards - Strengthen PFM systems supporting subnational investments and services Multi-donor PFM Fund

In the context of Rwanda, the Support to Public Finance Management reforms project falls under the Government and civil society sector, specifically Public finance management. The project aims to contribute to the PFM Sector Strategic Plan 2018-2024, as outlined in the Belgian support agreement. The primary objectives include expanding the coverage and functionalities of Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) and other Public Finance Management (PFM) Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems, increasing compliance with PFM systems and international accounting and auditing standards, and strengthening PFM systems supporting subnational investments and services. These objectives are aligned with the strategic guidance provided by the steering committees, comprising Rwandan public institutions, Enabel, and other relevant stakeholders. The project is funded by a grant from the Belgian Operations Fund and feasibility studies (54 10 545202 BTC).
