General

The project will contribute to providing monthly MPCA to 33,000 of the most severely vulnerable Syrian refugee families to help them meet their basic needs such as shelter, food and medicine. The objective of the project is to help refugees in Lebanon meet their needs through multipurpose cash Assistance. The MPCA is an integral part of UNHCR’s comprehensive protection response to refugees in Lebanon. The overall goal of MPCA is to improve the living conditions of vulnerable refugee families and reduce their susceptibility to exploitation and other protection risks such as child labour and survival sex.
