General

Through this project, conducted in OPT, UNFPA aims to create a violence-free school environment to contribute to the empowerment of youth in East Jerusalem by promoting a positive gender narrative and enhancing the capacity of teachers and students as peer educators for sustainable results and protecting youth from digital violence. The overall objective of the project is "To create a violence-free and empowering school environment for youth in East Jerusalem.

Results

1) promote positive gender narrative and identity of adolescents and youth in East Jerusalem through technology related methods. 2) Increased capacity of school teachers, counselors and students as peer educators for sustainable results. 3) protect young people from digital violence.

Other

Increased opportunities for positive and active engagement of young men and women in promoting gender equality and peaceful environment through campaigning and peer education and strengthened mechanisms for protection of young women and men from digital violence and gendered based violence.
