UNFPA Supplies puts particular emphasis on assisting a core group of 46 countries with the greatest gaps in reproductive health care. Many are among the least developed countries in the world, so we continue to play an essential part in providing family planning and maternal health-care commodities, with 40 per cent of all donated contraceptives globally passing through UNFPA Supplies UNFPA Supplies is the main global channel for ensuring that every person can choose
from a range of quality family planning options. The programme provides over 40 per
cent of all contraceptives donated to developing countries and helps strengthen health
systems to deliver them.
