Enhancement of procurement capacity of local government authorities

Ensuring systems and structures of governance uphold the rule of law and are democratic, effective, accountable, predictable, transparent, inclusive and corruption free at all levels strategy of project based on 5 complementary components: 1. support to PPRA and Hombolo LGTI for LGA procurement capacity building 2. strengthening government systems for monitoring LGA procurement performance 3. Support to civil society and media oversight of LGA procurement 4. Action research to inform policy dialogue on LGA procurement practices, incentives and organizational structures 5. Technical assistance for the implementation of the above components

Procurement capacity at local government level is sustainably enhanced
