Ce projet s'inscrit dans le cadre du programme national Rwanda de Trade Mark East Africa (2017-2023) qui cible l'Outcome n°4 à savoir: "Improved Efficiency and Capacity of Transport Insfrastructure on Lake Kivu. Il s'inscrit également dans la suite logique du projet précédent, également réalisé en coopération dialéguée via DFID (« Linking East to West - Supporting Rwanda’s trade Competitiveness with EAC and DRC » TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) Rwanda Programme 2014-2016 ) NN 3015211. Activiyéd essentielles: Construction et réhabilitation d'infrastructures portuaires, formation en gestion des ports et accompagnement des femmes commerçantes.
