BOS +: 2015-2016 Développement rural par la production durable de la espèce forestale Caesalpinia spinosa, en particulier pour des familles

Duurzame productie van de boomsoort Caesalpinia spinosa in functie van rurale ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder voor landbouwersgezinnen in 3 gemeenten van de zuidelijk Andes in Ecuador Ce projet veut élaborer et appliquer un modèle intégral de gestion de la biodiversité, focalisant sur l'arbre multipurpose Caesalpinia spinosa et ceci en 3 communes au Sud de l'Equateur. Ceci apportera une revenue amélioré pour la population agriculteur, à renforcer les organisations locales et la restauration, la gestion durable et la conservation de la végétation naturelle (3.100 hectare en totale) dans les communes Paltas, Gonzanamá et Catamayo.

The Water Management Committee of the municipality of Paltas fits a model of sustainable management of biodiversity based on Caesalpinia spinosa, and shares this model with 2 other municipalities in the province of Loja (Catamayo and Gonzanamá) so that at least 3,100 ha of natural vegetation is protected.
